Student Planner

This student planner is for public/private school students or for homeschoolers.

I know, I know. A student planner is not typically used in a homeschool since homework isn’t usually assigned. But student planners are a great addition to your homeschool.

Planners have a built in review of months and days of the week. They help children learn how to plan in advance, track appointments, and count down to upcoming events and holidays.

This student planner includes two-page monthly spreads, two-page weekly spreads with a box for weekly wins, a review each month as well as annual review pages and annual vision pages. The review and vision pages include questions to help children remember what they liked and didn’t like and experiences they enjoyed, as well as practice gratitude, set goals, and choose a word of the year.

For non-readers who are unable to use a planner on their own, they can draw pictures to indicate what’s upcoming and cross off dates to show the passing of time. They could draw the weather each day to learn about how it changes, or write down a letter or number of the day that they’re learning and reviewing. You can read the review and vision pages to your non-reader and encourage them to draw pictures or dictate their thoughts to you.

For early readers, they can do the same as above, practice letters and numbers, learn days of the week and months of the year. After dictating their thoughts on the review and vision pages, you may then use these as copywork.

For older readers and students, they might plan for upcoming events and holidays, write down to do lists and reminders, use it as a daily gratitude journal, or track activities.
